ProxiMat provides a defined physical area, helping you maintain awareness of your position in your room while immersed in VR. This is especially useful for avoiding collisions with objects or walls.
The ProxiMat serves as a tactile boundary, preventing you from wandering too far and potentially injuring yourself or damaging nearby objects.
The ProxiMat is made with an anti-fatigue foam, helping reduce fatigue in your legs and feet during gameplay. Standing on a ProxiMat is a lot more comfortable during extended VR sessions compared to standing on a hard floor.
ProxiMat features a non-porous top surface, ensuring that if it becomes dirty, cleaning it is straightforward.Just use isopropyl alcohol and a rag to effectively sanitize and refresh the mat's surface.
Beyond VR, this mat can also be used for various standing activities such as yoga, stretching, or as a general anti-fatigue mat in your workspace.
ProxiMats are most effective on clean, hard floors, thanks to the bottom texture that acts as a suction cup to help maintain its position during gameplay.
For those using the mat on rugs or carpeted areas, we have provided velcro hooks that can be attached to the underside of the mat. However, it's important to note that due to the diverse nature of carpet and rug textures, the effectiveness of these hooks may vary.
While the velcro hooks are sufficient for most users, we have also developed a 3D printable file available for download. This file allows you to create a carpet grabber for situations where stronger adherence is needed.
Choosing the correct size for you depends on your space entirely.
For spaces around 8ft² / 2.4m², we recommend our 35" mats.
For a larger space of 10ft² / 3m², we recommend either our 42" mat or our 47" mats.
We accept returns up to 30 days after you receive your ProxiMat (Free for US 48 Only).
Preorders are shipped as soon as we can, but preorder products are not made until a future date. If your product is marked with a PREORDER in it's title, it is a preorder. See individual listings for expected ship dates and rules. Orders with preorders and non-preorder items will ship at time of shipment for the preorder. This is done to reduce cost, emissions, and tracking of separate shipping.
Standard Products: All Standard Product Orders are processed the same day M-F for orders placed before 1PM EST.
Custom Products: Orders are shipped 24-48 hours after order placed unless there is need to contact customer concerning uploaded file.
Every order will have a confirmation email sent along with tracking numbers that will become activated once scanned by the carrier (after 5PM ET)
During checkout your cart will provide your shipping rate and provide an estimated shipment duration. Shipping services are provided by FedEx and UPS. They provide estimated times and do not guarantee arrival by that date.
International Shipments will not have Duties and Taxes in the shipping price that will need to be paid once the package arrives at customs. Service providers are FedEx and DHL and service times are estimates and are not guaranteed.
When your order is shipped, you will receive and email notification from us which will include tracking number you can use to track its status. Most tracking numbers become active on first scan around 5PM EST on the day the order is shipped. Some orders may take up to 48 hours.
Carriers other than USPS have limitations around shipping to PO Boxes. Since we do not use USPS, an alternative would be using FedEx. You can have your package redirected to local pickup locations in place of shipping to a PO Box. This will require signing up with FedEx Delivery Manager and entering in your packing tracking information and choosing a pickup location.

All items purchased from Murdock Industrial Incorporated and its website proximat.net are made pursuant to a shipment contract. This means the risk of loss and title for such items passes to you upon our delivery to the carrier. Optional Navadium shipping insurance is available at the time of checkout and is based on a percentage of your order. If you elect to go with this coverage, if a mat is lost, stolen, or damaged in shipping, a police report must be made. If damaged in shipping, photographic proof must be presented. Once these proper procedures are done, we will ship a new replacement order as soon as possible.
If you elect no optional insurance, We will work with the shipper to find solutions but that can take weeks to months and may or may not provide coverage. There is no guarantee of recovery if you do not have insurance.

We want to make it easy on you if you are not completely satisfied. You can Start your return and we will send you a prepaid label to send your order back. Free returns are offered for the 48 contiguous states only.
If you would like to return a product, a return label will be provided by Proximat, and when returned, a credit will be provided back to the customer within 5-10 business days of receipt. Returned products must be resalable, as determined by Proximat, acting reasonably, to qualify and returned within 30 days of delivery for a refund.
(All returns will be sold as open box returns on other selling channels or offered at a discount to nonprofits. They are not resold on Proximat.net)
If a product is shipped, such product must be refused delivery or returned in resalable form to Proximat for a customer to receive a refund.
If a manufacturer defect is present on a Product and the customer requests a replacement, it will be at Proximat's expense. Pictures must be provided.
Proximat is not responsible for lost, damaged, or stolen packages after they are in the possession of that shipping carrier. All risk of loss or damage is transferred to the customer. In the event of any issues with delivery, the customer is solely responsible for handling such matters with the shipping carrier. Proximat will make no effort to remedy situations involving lost, damaged, or stolen packages not caused by Proximat. If the customer wishes to reship the order, a new order must be placed, and the customer will bear all associated costs.

If you haven’t received a refund within 10 days check your bank account one last time and contact your credit card company. It may take some time before your refund is officially posted. If you’ve still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at support@proximat.net
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately Custom and Clearance items cannot be refunded. If you feel we did not provide adequate description of the clearance or custom product you ordered please contact us at support@proximat.net and we will review your request.
If the mat you ordered wasn't the right mat for you. Please start a return/exchange and we will get you a better option.
